Mechanic Guy offers a free tier with core garage management and limited AI chat. Premium features — including unlimited Guy conversations, full used car scout reports, and price negotiation tools — require a subscription available through the App Store.

Guy is trained on a large body of automotive knowledge and draws on your specific vehicle data to give highly relevant guidance. That said, Guy is an AI assistant — not a replacement for a certified mechanic. Always confirm safety-critical repairs with a professional.

Yes! You can add as many vehicles as you own. Each vehicle has its own profile, maintenance history, and AI chat context so Guy always knows which car you're talking about.

Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID. Go to Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Mechanic Guy and select Cancel Subscription. You'll retain access through the end of your billing period.

You can delete your account from Settings → Account → Delete Account inside the app. All personal data is permanently removed within 30 days. You can also email privacy@mechanicguy.app to request manual deletion.
